At Alta Ripa, we value personal contact. Dorothee and Rani are the first points of contact and are happy to invite you to our location to discuss your wishes and expectations together. We like to think along with you during the preparations and support you in this.
If required, we can also take over the entire organisation. Thanks to the presence of an event coordinator at the party itself, everything always runs smoothly. Our goal is to make sure your event runs perfectly and stress-free so you can enjoy it to the full.

We strive to make every event perfect and stress-free through our personal approach, professional service and beautiful venue in Oud-Turnhout. We want our guests to feel welcome and appreciated from the first contact to the last moment of the event, staff party or wedding.

About us
Dorothee Geenen
As the third generation within the Alta Ripa family business, Dorothee holds the values and traditions of our venue dear. Dorothee has an innate passion for events so it was the most logical step for her to study business and event management. Her passion for hospitality and eye for detail ensure that every event is taken care of to perfection.
Steph Geenen
Steph, Dorothee’s brother, is the head chef in Alta Ripa’s kitchen. After his training at Hotelschool Ter Duinen in Koksijde, he gained experience all over the world. Some fine references on his palmares include Il San Pietro di Positano (Italy), The World (the world’s most prestigious cruise ship), Dôme (starred restaurant in Antwerp) and Byblos (Alain Ducasse’s restaurant in Saint-Tropez). Steph’s culinary expertise and passion for cooking ensure that every dish is a highlight at your event.
Rani
With a sports and event management degree and a passion for organising events, Rani brings a breath of fresh air to our team. At Alta Ripa, Rani is a jack-of-all-trades; she manages social media, the website, she handles mailings and acts as event coordinator. Thanks to her versatility and enthusiasm, every event runs smoothly.

Located in green Oud-Turnhout, Alta Ripa offers a beautiful setting for any type of event. Our elegant orangery, beautiful garden and authentic castle farmhouse form the perfect backdrop for both small and large gatherings. With modern facilities and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, we ensure that your guests always feel welcome.
